My story

I'm Erick — a Brazilian developer who found his craft where design, code and revenue meet. This is how I got here, and what I bring to a team.

The path

Five chapters, one thread: shipping things that work.

  1. 2022

    Foundations

Frontend craft first: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress and Liquid. The earliest lesson stuck: a beautiful page is worthless if it loads slowly or confuses the person trying to buy.

  2. 2023

    Owning the whole stack

    Buyiver

My first end-to-end build — WooCommerce, PHP, subscriptions, Stripe and a full platform migration. Being the only engineer taught me to scope ruthlessly, prioritize and ship.

  3. 2024

    Shopify, at speed

    Assence · Sunner · Peaked

Leading development for several DTC brands at once: PDPs, bundle systems, cart drawers and campaign pages under real launch deadlines.

  4. 2025

    Testing at scale

    ConversionWise

Conversion engineering across a portfolio of brands. Pattern recognition compounded fast — what wins on one store becomes the hypothesis for the next.

  5. 2026

    Owning outcomes

    Product & growth

Partnering with brands on Shopify, CRO and product strategy — and widening the stack into backend services and paid acquisition, so I own results, not just tickets.

“The best interface is the one the customer never has to think about.”

What I believe

Four rules I build by.

01

Speed is a feature.

Every 100 ms is a decision the customer didn't have to wait for. Performance budgets are part of the spec, not a cleanup task.

02

Test, don't argue.

Opinions are hypotheses. I'd rather ship a clean A/B test than win a meeting.

03

Clarity converts.

The best interface is the one the customer never has to think about. Hierarchy before decoration.

04

Own the outcome.

Code is done when the metric moves, the tracking is right and the next person can maintain it.

Beyond the code

A developer who speaks marketing and product.

Running and instrumenting paid traffic taught me to read a page the way a media buyer does: does it keep the ad's promise, and can we prove it?

Working as a product manager on my own projects taught me to scope, write things down and say no — so teams get fewer surprises and faster releases.
